Art Buddies

Be a creative buddy to a child who needs you.

This fall, work one-one-one with your child while creating side-by-side with fifty other creative people from advertising, design and architecture.

Help your child know the joy of creativity and self-expression, and the fun of working closely with a creative person like you.

At our “Kids Rule!” program, help the children imagine themselves as King or Queen of the World, then create a fanciful costume showing how they’ll use their power to help people. Spark imagination with our huge collection of art supplies, including fur, feathers, fake jewels and all sorts of wild stuff.

Share your career with your child, too. Bring something that shows your child what you do. Most of the kids will have no idea what a creative job in advertising or design is like.

At the end of the program, pose with the kids and their creations for professional photographers, then celebrate your child’s achievement in an exciting parade. Afterwards, join your fellow volunteers at a bar in Uptown.
